Merger/Acquisition

Capital Power Corporation (TSX:CPX) signed an agreement to acquire 50% interest in 800MW natural-gas-fueled Shepard Energy Centre from ENMAX Corp. on December 5, 2012. Capital Power Corporation and ENMAX Corp. will build, own, and operate the Shepard Energy Centre under a joint venture agreement.
