Statkraft AS sold the unknown stake in E.ON SE (DB:EOAN) for NOK 8.5 billion on May 8, 2013.

E.ON SE (DB:EOAN) agreed to acquire an additional 24.5% stake in MPX Energia SA (BOVESPA:MPXE3) from EBX Ltd. for BRL 1.6 billion on March 28, 2013. Under the terms of the deal, In the first step, E.ON will acquire 24.5% of MPX from EBX for a minimum price of BRL 10 per share plus up to a further BRL 1 per share depending upon the final settlement price of a planned capital increase and the share price performance of MPX in the six months following the closing of the ... transaction. In the second step, MPX will make a capital increase of BRL 1.2 billion. E.ON undertook to subscribe for a 30.6% share of the capital increase at a minimum price of BRL 10 per share. E.ON's investment in the capital increase will be BRL 0.4 billion. The existing MPX-E.ON 50-50 joint venture will be integrated into MPX. This will lead to an increase of E.ON's stake in MPX to around 36.1% as E.ON will receive shares in MPX equivalent to the value of its stake in the joint venture. The transaction is subject to approval from the Board of Economic Defense (CADE). MPX and E.ON expect to close the first step of the transaction by the end of April 2013. E.ON AG (DB:EOAN) entered into an agreement to acquire 50% stake in Enerjisa Enerji Üretim A.S. from VERBUND AG (WBAG:VER) on December 3, 2012. As part of consideration, E.ON AG will give an interest in eight run-of-river plants in Germany plus some other assets. As per the terms of the consideration, VERBUND will receive the sections of the Ering, Egglfing and Nußdorf hydropower plants located in Germany, 50% share in Österreich-Bayerische Kraftwerke AG, 50% share in ... Donaukraftwerk Jochenstein AG and 50% share in Grenzkraftwerke GmbH. VERBUND will also repurchase 20.3% of the capacity of the Zemm-Ziller power plant group. Enerjisa reported revenues of TRY 3.7 billion in 2011. The deal is subject to regulatory approval including authorization under anti-trust law as well as the Turkish regulatory authority EMRA. The competition regulator BWB will decide on the deal by January 11, 2013. The closing of the transaction is planned for first quarter of the year 2013. On January 25, 2013, it was announced that the transaction was approved by the Turkish competition board. As of February 15, 2013, the transaction was approved by the European Commission.
