Blackstone Real Estate Advisors agreed to acquire leasehold on the Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort and Spa from Whitehall Street Real Estate Funds and Hyatt Hotels Corporation for $450 million on April 17, 2013. The transaction is scheduled to complete in July 2013. Eastdil Secured is advising Whitehall Street Real Estate Funds and Hyatt Hotels Corporation on the transaction.

Hyatt Hotels Corporation (NYSE:H) acquired The Driskill Hotel from Lowe Enterprises Investors for approximately $85 million on March 8, 2013. The hotel was acquired from an investment fund managed by Lowe Enterprises. The business will continue to operate The Driskill Hotel, under the umbrella of Hyatt Hotels & Resorts. Jones Lang LaSalle’s Hotels & Hospitality Group acted as an advisor for Lowe Enterprises.

Summit Hotel OP, LP entered into an agreement to acquire three hotels from Hyatt Hotels Corporation (NYSE:H) for $36.1 million on October 24, 2012. The purchase price is subject to closing prorations and adjustments. Summit intends to fund the acquisition with a portion of the net proceeds from its common stock offering of approximately $128.8 million and, if needed, additional borrowings under its credit facility. Select Hotels Group, L.L.C. will operate the hotels. ... The acquisition is subject to certain condition including completion of due diligence. As on December 20, 2012, the due diligence has been completed. The acquisition is expected to be completed prior to the end of the first quarter of 2013.
