Invesco Ltd. (NYSE:IVZ) agreed to acquire 1,600 apartments in Austin Ranch from Billingsley Company on December 22, 2012. Billingsley will use the proceeds from the sale of the Austin Ranch apartments to fund its other developments, including the Cypress Waters complex north of LBJ Freeway and the Arts Plaza development in downtown Dallas. As of December 22, 2012, Invesco completed the acquisition of 1,000 apartments in Austin Ranch.
