Gerdau S.A. (BOVESPA:GGBR4) acquired additional 4.81% stake in Kalyani Gerdau from Kalyani Steels Ltd. (BSE:500235) in February 2013. Pursuant to the transaction, Gerdau's stake in Kalyani Gerdau is increased to 99.5% and the name of Kalyani Gerdau will be changed to Gerdau. Sai Krishnan Bharatan and Ananya Sharma of AZB & Partners acted as legal advisor for Gerdau S.A.
