Mohawk Industries Inc. (NYSE:MHK) entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Marazzi Group S.p.A. from Filippo Marazzi, Sr. and his family, Private Equity Partners S.p.A., Permira Advisers Ltd. SVG Capital Plc (LSE:SVI) and other investors for €1.2 billion in cash and common stock on December 20, 2012. Marazzi family owns 51% of the group, while the rest is held by private equity funds Permira and Private Equity Partners. For the 2011, Marazzi reported revenues of ... about €833 million.
