The shareholders of Reckitt Benckiser Group plc (LSE:RB.) authorized a share repurchase program at its Annual General Meeting on May 2, 2013. Under the plan, Reckitt will repurchase up to 73,000,000 shares, representing 9.94% of its ordinary shares as of March 8, 2013. The minimum price which may be paid for an ordinary share is 10p, exclusive of expenses. The maximum price at which ordinary shares may be purchased is an amount equal to the higher of, either 5% above ... the average of the middle market quotations for the ordinary shares as taken from the London Stock Exchange Daily Official List for the five business days preceding the date of purchase, or that stipulated by article 5(1) of the EU Buyback and Stabilization Regulations 2003 (No. 2273/2003). The company will generally and unconditionally make marker purchases for the purposes of Section 701 of the 2006 Act. All ordinary shares purchased shall be cancelled immediately upon completion of the purchase or held, sold, transferred or otherwise dealt with as treasury shares in accordance with the provisions of the 2006 Act.
