WageWorks, Inc. (NYSE:WAGE) acquired Crosby Benefit Systems, Inc. for $4.1 million in cash on May 1, 2013. Two smaller contingent consideration payments may be made to the former owners of Crosby based upon future annual revenues from Crosby. Crosby will continue to operate out of their Newton offices as Crosby Benefit Systems, a division of WageWorks. Staci Mortenson of Integrated Corporate Relations Inc. acted as Public Relations advisor in the deal.
WageWorks, Inc. (NYSE:WAGE) acquired Benefit Concepts, Inc. on December 31, 2012. Post acquisition, Benefit Concepts, Inc. will operate as a division of WageWorks, Inc. and will continue to service its customers out of its Rhode Island offices, supported by additional capabilities, products and technologies provided by WageWorks, Inc.
