Lone Star Funds reached an agreement to acquire United States portfolio from Wereldhave NV (ENXTAM:WHA) for $720 million on January 7, 2013. During the last quarter of 2012, Wereldhave also sold two plots of land in United States, one in Texas and the other in Virginia, for a total of $10 million. These plots of land were the only two assets that were left out of the portfolio to be sold separately. As a part of the US portfolio, Lone Star would also acquire Éilan development ... project as part of the acquisition. The transaction is expected to be completed during the first quarter of 2013. The proceeds from the sale will be used to reduce debt and will lower the loan to value to slightly above 30% of Wereldhave NV. Lone Star Funds purchased Éilan development project on March 20, 2013.
