Exxon Mobil Corporation (NYSE:XOM) signed an agreement to acquire 75% stake in Tugela South Exploration Right from Impact Africa Limited on December 17, 2012. The deal is subject to approval from the South African government.
Polski Koncern Naftowy Orlen Spolka Akcyjna (WSE:PKN) agreed to acquire two licences in shale gas in Central Poland from Exxon Mobil Corporation (NYSE:XOM) on December 7, 2012. As on February 21, 2013, Environment Ministry approved the transaction.
